
Parmesan Breadsticks

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups Thrive Fields Cassava Flour (6 oz, 3/8 of a 16 oz pack)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for topping)
2 large eggs
1/2 cup water
2 Tbsp olive oil
For garlic butter:
2 Tbsp melted butter (or dairy-free alternative)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
DIRECTION
- Preheat to 375 °F (190 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk cassava flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and Parmesan.
- Beat in eggs, then add water and olive oil. Stir until a soft, workable dough forms.
- Divide dough into 10–12 portions. Roll each into a thin log about 6 inches long and place them on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, until lightly golden and firm to the touch.
- While warm, brush breadsticks generously with melted garlic butter and sprinkle with extra Parmesan.
- Enjoy warm, perfect for dipping in sauces!
