INGREDIENTS
1 cup Thrive Fields Cassava Flour (4 oz, 1/4 of a 16 oz pack)
1/4 cup tapioca starch (optional for extra chew)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup warm water
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp baking soda (for boiling water)
Coarse sea salt, for topping

Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

In a large bowl, whisk cassava flour, tapioca starch (if using), baking powder, and salt.

Stir in warm water and oil until a soft dough forms. Let rest for 5 minutes to hydrate.

Divide dough into four portions. Roll each into a rope and cut into 1-inch pieces.

Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Add baking soda. Drop bites in for 30 seconds, then remove with a slotted spoon and place on baking sheet.

Sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden. Serve warm with dipping sauce.
