Dinner Rolls

INGREDIENTS 

1 1/2 cups Thrive Field Cassava Flour (6 oz, 3/8 of a 16 oz pack)

1/2 cup tapioca starch

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt 2 large eggs

1/4 cup olive oil or melted butter

3/4 cup warm non-dairy milk or regular milk

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

DIRECTION

  1. Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk cassava flour, tapioca starch, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, oil, milk, and apple cider vinegar until well combined.

  4. Add wet ingredients to the dry and mix until a sticky dough forms.

  5. Lightly oil your hands and shape the dough into 8 equal balls. Place them on the baking sheet spaced slightly apart.

  6. Bake for 20–22 minutes, until rolls are puffed and lightly golden.

  7. Best enjoyed warm with butter or dairy-free spread!
