Cheese Crackers

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Thrive Field Cassava Flour (4 oz, 1/4 of a 16 oz pack)

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

3 Tbsp cold butter

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp salt

2–3 Tbsp water

DIRECTION

  1. In a bowl or food processor, combine cassava flour, cheese, butter, garlic powder, and salt. Pulse or mix until crumbly.

  2. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until dough forms a ball.

  3. Roll dough between parchment paper to about 1/8-inch thick.

  4. Cut into squares or shapes with a knife or cookie cutter.

  5. Place on lined baking sheet.

  6. Bake at 350 °F (175 °C) for 15–18 minutes until edges are golden and crisp.

  7. Let crackers cool completely for best crunch. Store in airtight container up to 1 week.
